I am a licensed professional counselor, with a Master's in counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Bachelor's in psychology from Liberty University, working on my Ph.D in clinical counseling and have been trained in many specific issues.
I am specifically trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and talk about this some in my blog. EMDR is a great therapy for those who have past trauma issues (any traumatic issues) that are still affecting oneself, serious anxiety issues, and possibly other issues as well.
I specialize in helping women and adolescent girls. However, I work with all walks of life.
I work on a sliding scale basis, which means you are charged a fee based on your income. If ever this is not doable, this is something we can talk about, so don't allow money to keep you from doing therapy.
